My child had wanted an 18" doll for the past year. When I saw that Kahn Lucas carried 18" dolls made by Madame Alexander for their Dollie & Me line, I figured that the quality of the doll and the clothing would be very good. I was not disappointed. This doll is beautiful and sturdy enough for a child to play with it. The arms and legs are nicely jointed to rotate and move in many directions, so that the doll can be easily posed and dressed. The facial features are well done. The dress and accessories are sturdily constructed. The doll's hair is very nicely done, with no scalp showing, and can be brushed and braided without damage. My child has played with this doll a lot since Christmas, and taken it with her on trips everywhere. It is a quality made, beautiful doll, and such a great deal! (Posted on 12/28/13)
